Cystistat® has a beneficial long-term effect (3 years) in approximately
2/3 of patients23 and there is strong evidence to indicate that Cystistat® has a long-term positive impact on interstitial cystitis.16
50% of patients initially treated with Cystistat® did not need additional therapy after 5 years20 which suggests that some patients seem to be cured.17,20
